Tips and Tricks we come across and want to share.
Stitching with polyester thread on the long arm machine, use a size 14 needle to avoid breaking threads.
When using the moldable stabilzer, stitch with a microtex size 14 needle for best results.
Sewing a fine hem - Just read this in Threads magazine, Mark your hem at the finished length. Sew a piece of folded bias material along the marked line. Trim to 1/4". Press the bias tape up, unto it self. Turn the hem as you normally do, to the wrong side. hem as usual.
When turning a small, fine tube, stitch a piece of floss inside to make it easier to turn.
